I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
The tenant shall in no circumstances invoke any right to maintain in the property at the end of the lease originally scheduled on the contract.
II. USE OF THE PLACES
Tenants should enjoy their stay whilst maintaining a due respect for the property.
The day of the departure, tenants must leave the property in the same condition as when they arrived into it.
The rental cannot benefit to a third person.
The owner will provide housing in line with the description made and continue to serve int the state.
III. GUARANTEE DEPOSIT
During the reservation of the property a deposit will be asked to the tenant. It would be equal to the maximum amount of the rental.
The full deposit will be given back to the tenant after the check out or will be sent to him/her in a one week period unless renovations have to be done to the property or furnitures have to be replace ; if the deposit isn’t enough, the tenant commits to pay the difference.
IV. NUMBER OF TENANTS
The number of tenants will not exceed the capacity indicated, except with the agreement of the owner. A supplement will be applied if there are more tenants.
If animals are not admitted, their presence will involved the immediate end of the contract.
The tenant commits to respect the number of animals allowed in the place, indicated on the contract.
VI. THE STATUS AND INVENTORY OF FURNITURE.
The status and inventory of furnitures and various equipments will be made at the beginning and end of the stay by the owner and the tenant, and will be signed by both parts.
The reservation becomes effective when the tenant has returned a copy of the contract with the total amount of the rental.
VIII. DISRUPTION OF THE STAY
In case of the disruption of the stay by the tenant, and if the responsibility of the owner is not to blame, no refund will be made, expect the guarantee deposit under the conditions stated above.
IX. CONDITION OF CANCELLATION
Every cancellation must be notified with a letter or an email :
a) Before the entrance:
Usually, the amount of the rental goes to the owner ; unless the property concerned is rented for the same dates and the same price.
b) If the tenant doesn’t come the day mentioned on the contract, after a 24 hours delay and without any notice to the owner :
– The contract is cancelled
– The payment is due to the owner
The tenant has to insure the property rented. He should therefore check with his insurance company whether his main residence insurance policy covers holiday rentals.
